In cooperation with the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Johns Hopkins University, UNODC published a technical paper on combating trafficking in persons in accordance with the principles of Islamic law.

Additionally, specialized training was delivered at the request of Member States, such as Saudi Arabia, where 70 Saudi Arabian criminal justice practitioners received training in collaboration with the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh.

In 2013, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, which is the scientific branch of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior, conducted the following activities:

Since the establishment of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences nearly 30 years ago, many international activities have served to provide security personnel with up-to-date knowledge and experience.
19- منذ إنشاء جامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية قبل قرابة ثلاثين عاماً، لا يزال العديد من الأنشطة الدولية يُزوِّد موظفي الأمن بأحدث المعارف والخبرات في هذا الميدان.

The Branch also participated in activities of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, including a regional training workshop focused on controlling and protecting the movement of persons and commodities from terrorist attacks, held in Riyadh from 6 to 8 June.

20. In 2006, publications of the Council included " Measuring human trafficking: complexities and pitfalls " , proceedings of the Council's 2005 international conference; and the council's quarterly newsletter, issued in cooperation with the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.
20- وشملت منشورات المجلس في عام 2006 وقائع المؤتمر الدولي الذي عقده المجلس في عام 2005 بعنوان " التعقيدات والصعوبات التي تعترض قياس حجم الاتجار بالبشر " ؛ ورسالة المجلس الإخبارية التي تصدر أربع مرات في السنة بتعاون مع جامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية.

The workshop was organized by UNODC in partnership with the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, with logistical support from the Ministry of the Interior of Bahrain and with participants from eight States (Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen).

It participated in a United Nations-League of Arab States high-level dialogue, held in Vienna from 11 to 13 July, and in the regional workshop on ways to face extremism organized by the League and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, held in Riyadh from 19 to 21 March.
وشارك في حوار رفيع المستوى بين الأمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية، عُقد في فيينا من 11 إلى 13 تموز/يوليه، وفي حلقة العمل الإقليمية بشأن سبل مواجهة التطرف، نظمتها الجامعة مع جامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية، وعُقدت في الرياض من 19 إلى 21 آذار/مارس.

Since its establishment nearly 30 years ago, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences has undertaken many activities, including academic conferences; seminars and symposiums; training programmes; exhibitions; the publishing and distribution of books, theses, journals and articles; official visits; and memorandums of understanding and cooperation.

International activities at the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences such as academic conferences, seminars and symposiums, training programmes, exhibitions, publishing and distributing of books, theses, journals and articles, official visits and memorandums of understanding and cooperation are central to its work.
18- تمثِّل الأنشطة الدولية في جامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية، مثل عقد المؤتمرات الأكاديمية والحلقات الدراسية والندوات والبرامج التدريبية والمعارض، ونشر الكتب والأطروحات والمجلات والمقالات وتوزيعها، وإجراء الزيارات الرسمية، وإبرام مذكرات التفاهم، وإقامة علاقات التعاون، جزءا أساسيا من عملها.

46. The Working Group of the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force on Countering the Use of the Internet for Terrorist Purposes convened a meeting on the use of the Internet to counter the appeal of terrorism in January 2011 in Riyadh, in partnership with the Naif Arab University.

The African Union Commission, the International Narcotics Control Board, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, the United Nations Development Programme and the World Customs Organization were represented by observers.
48- ومُثِّل بمراقب كلّ من مفوّضية الاتحاد الأفريقي والهيئة الدولية لمراقبة المخدّرات وجامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة المشترك بشأن الأيدز وفيروسه وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والمنظمة العالمية للجمارك.

Other activities in this priority region included the organization of a regional training workshop on drugs and organized crime for the member States of the Organization of the Islamic Conference of the Arab region, organized in Manama from 25 November to 1 December 2004 by UNODC and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and hosted by the Government of Bahrain.
واشتملت الأنشطة الأخرى ذات الأولوية في المنطقة على قيام المكتب وجامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية بتنظيم حلقة عمل تدريبية إقليمية بشأن المخدرات والجريمة المنظمة في المنامة ، من 25 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر إلى 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2004، لصالح الدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في المنطقة العربية، واستضافتها حكومة البحرين.
