وأشارت الأمانة بالذكر إلى أن التوصية 35/19 للاجتماع الخامس والثلاثين للجنة التنفيذية طلبت إلى جمهورية إيران الإسلامية أن تقدم خطة عمل منقحة مشفوعة بمؤشرات محددة الزمن لكفالة عودة الطرف العاجلة إلى الامتثال لتدابير رقابة كلوروفورم الميثيل الواردة في البروتوكول.
