34. At the 2nd meeting, on 3 February, the Council adopted a draft decision (E/1994/L.7, draft decision XIII) entitled " Dates of the twentieth session of the Commission on Transnational Corporations " .
٣٤ - في الجلسة الثانية، المعقودة في ٣ شباط/فبراير، اعتمد المجلس مشروع مقرر E/1994/L.7)، مشروع المقرر الثالث عشر( بعنوان " مواعيد الدورة العشرين للجنة المعنية بالشركات عبر الوطنية " .

The Economic and Social Council, in its resolution 1993/49, requested the Secretary-General to prepare, for the twentieth session of the Commission on Transnational Corporations, an analytical and comparative report on the role of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa.
١ - طلب المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في قراره ١٩٩٣/٤٩ الى اﻷمين العام، أن يعد تقريرا تحليليا ومقارنا عن دور الاستثمار المباشر اﻷجنبي في افريقيا من أجل الدورة العشرين للجنة المعنية بالشركات عبر الوطنية.

Transnational Corporations 30. At the 2nd meeting, on 3 February, the Council adopted a draft decision (E/1994/L.7, draft decision XIII) entitled " Dates of the twentieth session of the Commission on Transnational Corporations " .
٣٠ - في الجلسة الثانية، المعقودة في ٣ شباط/فبراير، اعتمد المجلس مشروع مقرر E/1994/L.7)، مشروع المقرر الثالث عشر( بعنوان " مواعيد الدورة العشرين للجنة المعنية بالشركات عبر الوطنية " .

The Economic and Social Council decides to waive the provisions of its resolutions 1982/50 of 28 July 1982, paragraph 1 (1), and 1988/77 of 29 July 1988, paragraph 2 (f) (i), and to authorize that the twentieth session of the Commission on Transnational Corporations be held at Geneva from 2 to 11 May 1994.
يقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي أن يوقف العمل بأحكام الفقرة ١ )١( من قرارها ١٩٨٢/٥٠ المؤرخ في ٢٨ تموز/يوليه ١٩٨٢ والفقرة ٢ )و( ' ١ ' من قراره ١٩٨٨/٧٧ المؤرخ في ٢٩ تموز/يوليه ١٩٨٨، وأن يــأذن بعقــد الدورة العشرين للجنة المعنية بالشركات عبر الوطنية في جنيف في الفترة من ٢ الى ١١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤.

At the 45th plenary meeting, on 29 July, the Council adopted the draft decision entitled " Provisional agenda and documentation for the twentieth session of the Commission on Transnational Corporations " , recommended by the Committee (E/1993/111, para. 23, draft decision I).
