Promote and support relevant annual events, such as special parliamentary debates and the World Day to Combat Desertification on 17 June with appropriate activities in constituencies, issuing commemorative postal stamps, establishing awards for good desertification/land degradation and drought activities, engaging in environmental education, as well as involving schools, academics, artists and the mass media.
