2. Invites all Member States, relevant organizations of the United Nations system and other international organizations, as well as civil society, to observe the International Day of the Girl Child, and to raise awareness of the situation of girls around the world;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء ومؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة وسائر المنظمات الدولية المعنية، فضلا عن المجتمع المدني، إلى الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للفتاة والتوعية بوضع الفتيات في أرجاء العالم؛

2. Invites all Member States, organizations of the United Nations system and other international and regional organizations, as well as civil society, including non-governmental organizations and individuals, to observe the International Day of Happiness in an appropriate manner, including through education and public awareness-raising activities;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء ومؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية الأخرى والمجتمع المدني، بما في ذلك المنظمات غير الحكومية والأفراد، إلى الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للسعادة بطريقة مناسبة، بطرق منها الاضطلاع بأنشطة لتثقيف الجمهور وتوعيته في هذا الشأن؛

The challenge remains to encourage additional Member States to observe the International Day of Democracy and to consider it an opportunity to increase awareness of the importance for citizens of valuing democracy and fully participating in the ongoing task of achieving and consolidating open, transparent, inclusive and sustainable democratic societies.

2. Urges Governments and national, regional and international organizations to take appropriate steps to observe the International Day of Solidarity and to extend their full cooperation to civil societies and individuals in observing that day.

On 29 November, the Permanent Representative of Indonesia, on behalf of the Council members, made a statement at the special meeting held at United Nations Headquarters to observe the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

A sense of shared responsibility vis-à-vis the issue of Palestine has brought us together today, on 29 November, as it does every year, to observe the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
