It provided substantive and analytical support to the Open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development, including in the implementation of the 2008 - 2010 workplan of its expert mechanism, the High-level Task Force on the Implementation of the Right to Development.

Some delegations underlined that the questions concerning the procedures and the working methods of the Security Council, and related transparency, fell within the specific mandate entrusted by the General Assembly to the Open-ended Working Group on the reform of the Security Council.

24. OHCHR provided secretariat support to the Open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development, which convened its thirteenth session in Geneva from 7 to 11 May 2012.
