1 - حــددت ميزانية الإنفاق على قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان خلال الفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2004 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2005 في تقرير الأمين العام المؤرخ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003 (A/58/659) وبلغ إجماليها 200 741 94 دولار (صافيها 800 726 89 دولار).

6. As of 31 March 1995, the total amount of $2,440.8 million had been appropriated for UNIFIL for the period from the inception of the Force on 19 March 1978 to 31 January 1995.

On 30 August, the Security Council adopted resolution 1937 (2010) extending the mandate of UNIFIL for another year, to 31 August 2011.

1. The budget for the maintenance of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) for the period from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011 was set out in the report of the Secretary-General of 1 February 2010 (A/64/641 and Corr.1) and amounted to $564,536,900 gross ($552,557,100 net).
1 - حُددت ميزانية الإنفاق على قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان خلال الفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2010 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2011 في تقرير الأمين العام المؤرخ 1 شباط/فبراير 2010 (A/64/641 و Corr.1) بمبلغ إجماليه 900 536 564 دولار (صافيه 100 557 552 دولار).

6. As of 31 October 1994, the total amount of $2,369.7 million had been appropriated for UNIFIL for the period from the inception of the Force on 19 March 1978 to 31 January 1995. Assessed contributions received for the same period amounted to $2,179.2 million.

Today, in a situation where a return to the status quo ante does not appear feasible and with a view to providing the Security Council the time required to consider all possible options for future arrangements in South Lebanon, I instead recommend that the Council should extend the mandate of UNIFIL for a period of one month.

My country has been intensively involved with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) for 22 years, an involvement which brought much sacrifice in human lives, but also much satisfaction, never more so than during the past few months.
