7. We commend the States Parties and also States not party that have completed the clearance of contaminated areas and/or destruction of their cluster munition stockpiles even in advance of the Convention's entry into force.

2. Affirms the vital importance of universality of the Treaty on the NonProliferation of Nuclear Weapons and calls on all States not parties to the Treaty to accede as non-nuclear-weapon States to the Treaty promptly and without any conditions, and to comply with its provisions in the interim;

(a) demarches with regard to States Parties, and, where appropriate, with regard to States not parties to the NPT, in order to urge their support for the objectives set out in Articles 1, 2 and 3 of this Decision;

As well, the ISU exchanged views on numerous occasions with the Convention's Special Envoy on Universalization, including by making contact and initial arrangements with States not party to the Convention that he may visit.
