Mr. Maza Martelli (El Salvador) welcomed the adoption of the Guide to Enactment of the Model Law on Public Procurement, as it would contribute to the establishment of a modern legal framework in that area.

14. Mr. Maza Martelli (Observer for El Salvador) reiterated his Government's position that the question of the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas should be resolved in line with the principle of territorial integrity.
