175- كما تذكر الجهة المطالِبة بأن الأمر استلزم اقتناء أثاث للمركب السكني في الخُبر نظراً إلى أن الوحدات السكنية تسلّم عادة للمواطنين السعوديين غير مؤثثة.

As half of the Al Khobar housing units were used to accommodate refugees while the remaining half were used to accommodate members of the Allied Coalition Forces, the Claimant has reduced the amount claimed in respect of furniture accordingly.
ونظرا إلى أن نصف الوحدات السكنية في الخُبر قد استُخدم لإيواء اللاجئين بينما استخدم النصف الآخر لإيواء أفراد قوات التحالف، فقد قلصت الجهة المطالِبة وفقا لذلك من المبلغ المطالب به فيما يتعلق بالأثاث.

The Claimant asserts that the staff members were transferred to the Claimant's housing facilities in Al Khobar and Jubail, twelve days before the invasion of Al Khafji, as a protective measure.

170- تحسّباً لاحتمال انقطاع مصانع إزالة ملوحة المياه عن مصادر أخرى للتزويد بالطاقة، يدعي صاحب المطالبة أنه قام بشراء 15 جهازا لتوليد الكهرباء بكلفة إجمالية قدرها 690 003 2 ريالاً سعودياً لمصنعي الخُبر وجبيل خلال الفترة من أيلول/سبتمبر 1990 إلى كانون الثاني/يناير 1991.

21- عبد الله محمود زكي الدمرداش، مولود في عام 1982، متزوج، اعتاد الإقامة في القاهرة بمصر ويعمل في شركة شامبلرجير في الخُبر.

The Claimant asserts that one unit (Unit 4) at the Al Khobar electricity plant was shut down as the demand on the electricity grid was reduced due to Iraq's invasion and occupation of Kuwait, and also because the Unit 4 gas pipeline was corroded in several places such that " any powerful vibration would cause damages to the pipeline " .
133- ويدعي صاحب المطالبة أنه تم إغلاق وحدة واحدة (الوحدة 4) في مصنع الخُبر للكهرباء لانخفاض الطلب على شبكة الكهرباء بسبب غزو العراق واحتلاله للكويت، ولأن الصدأ كان قد أصاب أيضا خط أنابيب غاز الوحدة 4 في أماكن عديدة لدرجة أن " أي تذبذب قوي كان يمكن أن يحدث أضرارا بخط الأنابيب " .

The Claimant asserts that in order to repair the cables and pipes at the Al Khafji plant damaged as a result of military operations, 171 technicians from Al Khobar and Jubail plants, as well as workers from Al Khafji, were seconded to undertake the repair work at the end of February 1991. / The Claimant states that the personnel who were seconded from Al Khobar and Jubail were paid their salaries and a secondment allowance.
157- يدعي صاحب المطالبة أن إصلاح الكبلات والأنابيب التي أصابها الضرر في مصنع الخفجي نتيجة للعمليات العسكرية قد استدعى إعارة 171 فنياً من مصنعي الخُبر وجبيل وكذلك عمال من مدينة الخفجي للقيام بأعمال الإصلاح في نهاية شباط/فبراير 1991(48). ويصرح بأن الموظفين الذين أعيروا من مصنعي الخُبر وجبيل قد تلقوا رواتبهم وبدل إعارة.
