49. As part of its special information programme on the question of Palestine, the Department organized a regional seminar for Asian journalists on the theme “Prospects for peace”, held in New Delhi on 3 and 4 February 1998.
٩٤ - وقامت اﻹدارة، كجزء من برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص بشأن قضية فلسطين، بتنظيم حلقة دراسية إقليمية للصحافيين اﻵسيويين حول موضوع " آفاق السلام " ، عقدت في نيودلهي في يومي ٣ و ٤ شباط/ فبراير ١٩٩٨.

As part of its special information programme on the question of Palestine, the Department organized at Madrid from 29 to 31 March 1995 a meeting on assistance to the Palestinian people in the field of media development.
ونظمت اﻹدارة في مدريد في الفترة من ٢٩ إلى ٣١ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٥، في إطار برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص بشأن قضية فلسطين، إجتماعا لتقديم المساعدة إلى الشعب الفلسطيني في ميدان تنمية وسائط اﻹعلام.

The rapidly changing political situation in the Middle East has compelled the Department to approach its activities on the question of Palestine with the needed flexibility, as required by General Assembly resolution 84 C of 15 December 1995, and to keep its special information programme on the question under constant review.

In pursuance of General Assembly resolution 53/41 of 2 December 1998, the Department of Public Information continued its special information programme on the question of Palestine, which included among its highlights the convening of an international encounter on the theme “Prospects for Peace” and the organization of a training programme for Palestinian broadcasters and journalists.
٧٥ - وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٥٣/٤١ المؤرخ ٢ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨، واصلت إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص عن قضية فلسطين، الذي كان من أبرز عناصره عقد لقاء دولي حول موضوع " مستقبل السلام " وتنظيم برنامج تدريبي للمذيعين والصحفيين الفلسطينيين.

In pursuance of General Assembly resolution 53/41 of 2 December 1998, the Department of Public Information continued its special information programme on the question of Palestine, which included among its highlights the convening of an international encounter on the theme “Prospects for Peace” and the organization of a training programme for Palestinian broadcasters and journalists.
٧٤ - وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٥٣/٤١ المؤرخ ٢ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨، واصلت إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص عن قضية فلسطين، الذي كان من أبرز عناصره عقد لقاء دولي حول موضوع " مستقبل السلام " وتنظيم برنامج تدريبي للمذيعين والصحفيين الفلسطينيين.

73. The Committee noted that, in pursuance of General Assembly resolution 52/51, the Department of Public Information continued its special information programme on the question of Palestine, which included the convening of a regional seminar and an international seminar on the theme “Prospects for peace”.
٧٣ - لاحظت اللجنة أنه عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٥٢/٥١، واصلت إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص بشأن قضية فلسطين الذي تضمن عقد حلقة دراسية إقليمية وحلقة دراسية دولية عن موضوع " آفاق السلام " .

9. Should the General Assembly adopt draft resolution A/48/L.43, the Department of Public Information, in full cooperation and coordination with the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, would continue its special information programme on the question of Palestine, using the necessary flexibility as might be required by developments affecting the question of Palestine.
٩ - وإذا ما اعتمدت الجمعية العامة مشروع القرار A/48/L.43، فستواصل إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام، بتعاون وتنسيق كاملين مع اللجنة المعنية بممارسة الشعب الفلسطيني لحقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف، برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص المتعلق بقضية فلسطين، مع توخي المرونة اللازمة التي قد تتطلبها التطورات التي تؤثر على قضية فلسطين.

40. The Department of Public Information had an important role to play in furthering the Palestinian cause by continuing to educate the public about all aspects of the situation on the ground, as underscored in General Assembly resolution 50/84 C, which requested the Department to continue its special information programme on the question of Palestine for the biennium 1996-1997, and specified the various components of that programme.
٤٠ - ومضى قائلا إن إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام لها دور هام في تعزيز قضية فلسطين عن طريق مواصلة تثقيف الجماهير بشأن جميع جوانب الحالة على أرض الواقع على النحو الذي أكدته الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٥٠/٨٤ جيم الذي طلبت فيه إلى إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام أن تواصل برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص المتعلق بقضية فلسطين لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧ وحددت فيه العناصر المختلفة لذلك البرنامج.

In its resolution 53/41 of 2 December 1998, on the special information programme on the question of Palestine, the General Assembly requested the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat, in full cooperation and coordination with the Committee, to continue, with the necessary flexibility as may be required by developments affecting the question of Palestine, its special information programme for the biennium 1998-1999.
٨ - وفي القرار ٣٥/١٤ المؤرخ ٢ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ٨٩٩١ بشأن البرنامج اﻹعلامي الخاص المتعلق بقضية فلسطين، طلبت الجمعية العامة من إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام باﻷمانة العامة أن تواصل بالتعاون والتنسيق الكاملين مع اللجنة، ومع توخي المرونة اللازمة التي قد تتطلبها التطورات التي تؤثر على قضية فلسطين، برنامجها اﻹعلامي الخاص لفترة السنتين ٨٩٩١-٩٩٩١.
