At the consultations of the whole on 21 September, the Executive Director of the Office of the Iraq Programme, Benon Sevan, introduced the report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of resolution 1302 (2000) (S/2000/857).

At the informal consultations held on 17 November, the two reports were presented to Council members by the Executive Director of the Office of the Iraq Programme, Benon Sevan, and by Ambassador A. Peter van Walsum, Chairman of the Security Council Committee established by resolution 661 (1990) concerning the situation between Iraq and Kuwait, respectively.

Subsequently, during informal consultations on 29 May, the Executive Director of the Iraq Programme, Benon Sevan, provided an update on (a) the developments and main issues relating to the implementation of the humanitarian programme and (b) on the measures taken by his Office in putting in place the new procedures for the processing of contracts, as required under Security Council resolution 1409 (2002).
