Many States that are not party to this Convention have incorporated its safeguards in their nationality laws.

States Parties undertake to adopt all necessary measures at the national level aimed at achieving the full realization of the rights recognized in the present Convention.
تتعهد الدول الأطراف باتخاذ جميع ما يلزم على الصعيد الوطني من تدابير ترمي إلى تحقيق الإعمال الكامل للحقوق المعترف بها في هذه الاتفاقية.

We call upon all other States which have not yet become parties to the Convention to ratify it as soon as possible.
ونحــن نناشد كل الدول اﻷخرى التي لم تصبح أطرافــا بعد في هذه الاتفاقية أن تصدق عليها في أقرب وقت ممكن.

Three points in the Convention truly break new ground:
هناك ثلاث نقاط في هذه الاتفاقية جديدة بالفعل:

Any State Party to this Convention may propose amendments to the Convention.
لأية دولة من الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية أن تقترح ما تشاء من تعديلات عليها.

The secretariat shall forward the information thus received to all Parties to this Convention.
وتحيل الأمانة المعلومات التي تلقتها على هذا النحو إلى جميع الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية.

The heterogeneity of the States Parties to this Convention makes this partnership a useful example of international cooperation among nations.
وتباين الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية إنما يجعل هذه الشراكة مثالا مفيدا للتعاون الدولي فيما بين الأمم.

All States Parties to this Convention shall be invited to each Review Conference.
وتدعى جميع الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية إلى حضور كل مؤتمر للاستعراض.

Relations with States not party to this Convention
العلاقات مع الدول غير الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية

(i) The identity, whereabouts and activities of persons suspected of involvement in the offences established in this Convention;
`١` هوية اﻷشخاص المشتبه في ضلوعهم في جرائم مقررة في هذه الاتفاقية وأماكن تواجدهم وأنشطتهم ؛

Nothing in this Convention shall be construed as creating a maritime lien.
ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يفسّر على أنه ينشئ امتيازاً بحرياً.

Such participation includes both the right to utilize the watercourse and the duty to cooperate in the protection and development thereof, as provided in the present Convention.
وتشمل هذه المشاركة حق الانتفاع بالمجرى المائي وواجب التعاون في حمايته وتنميته على النحو المنصوص عليه في هذه الاتفاقية.

Nothing in the present Convention obliges a watercourse State to provide data or information vital to its national defence or security.
ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يُلزم دولة من دول المجرى المائي بتقديم بيانات أو معلومات هــي حيوية لدفاعها أو أمنها القوميين.

A total of 188 States are currently parties to the Convention.
ويبلغ عدد الدول اﻷطراف في هذه الاتفاقية حاليا ١٨٨ دولة.

:: References to " States parties " in the Convention shall apply to intergovernmental organizations within the limits of their competence.
:: تشير عبارة ' ' الدول الأطراف`` في هذه الاتفاقية إلى المنظمات الحكومية الدولية كل في نطاق اختصاصه.

The States Parties to the present Convention solemnly undertake not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
تتعهد رسميا الدول اﻷطراف في هذه الاتفاقية بعدم استعمال اﻷسلحة النووية أو التهديد باستعمالها في أي ظرف من الظروف.

Such arrangements shall not affect the rights and obligations of any State Party under other provisions of this Convention.
ولا تؤثر مثل هذه الترتيبات على حقوق والتزامات أي دولة طرف بموجب أحكام أخرى في هذه الاتفاقية.

All States parties to that Convention should participate in the Conference of Plenipotentiaries to consider amendments aimed at strengthening the Convention.
وينبغي لجميع الدول الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية أن تشترك في مؤتمر المفوضين للنظر في التعديلات الرامية إلى تعزيز الاتفاقية.

473. Article 2 of the Convention obliges the State Parties to ensure the rights set forth by this Convention to every child under their jurisdiction without discrimination of any kind, including discrimination on the basis on disability.

" 5. The Parties to this Convention agree that a claimant may not invoke a most favored nation provision to seek to alter the application [or non-application] under this Convention of the UNCITRAL Rules on Transparency.

In his view, the rights set forth in that Convention were of fundamental importance.

" 3. The protection provided under the present Convention is without prejudice to that afforded by:
