We support the aforementioned resolutions and urge the Government of Switzerland, in its capacity as the depositary of the Fourth Geneva Convention, to convene the conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the Convention in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem.
ونحــن نؤيد القرارات المذكورة آنفا ونحث الحكومة السويسرية بوصفها الدولة الوديعة لاتفاقية جنيف الرابعة، على عقـــد مؤتمر اﻷطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن التدابير اللازمة ﻹنفاذ الاتفاقية في اﻷرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس.

Hence the call by High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on 5 December 2001 to both parties to the conflict to:

4. The Committee had noted the convening, on 15 July 1999, of the Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on Measures to Enforce the Convention in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem, and the statement adopted at its conclusion.
4 - وأحاطت اللجنة علما بانعقاد مؤتمر الأطراف السامية المتعاقدة في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن تدابير إنفاذ الاتفاقية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس، في 15 تموز/يوليه 1999، وبالبيان الذي اعتمد في ختام المؤتمر.

Finally, with respect to the occupied Palestinian territories and Palestinian women in particular, the United Arab Emirates called upon the international community to compel Israel to respect the relevant international humanitarian laws, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention on the treatment of civilians.
37 - وأخيراً، فيما يتعلق بالأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة والمرأة الفلسطينية على وجه الخصوص، فإن الإمارات العربية المتحدة تهيب بالمجتمع الدولي أن يُلزِم إسرائيل باحترام القوانين الإنسانية الدولية ذات الصلة، وخصوصاً اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن معاملة المدنيين.

15. The resolution reiterated the recommendation that the Government of Switzerland, in its capacity as depositary of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War should reconvene as soon as possible a Conference of High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the Convention in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
15 - وقد كرر القرار توصيته لحكومة سويسرا، بصفتها الحكومة الوديعة لاتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية المدنيين وقت الحرب، بأن تعقد من جديد في أقرب وقت ممكن مؤتمراً للأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن تدابير إنفاذ الاتفاقية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة.

55. Regarding objections to use of the term " collective punishment " in two of the draft resolutions, she pointed out that such punishment was prohibited under article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention on the principle that no protected person could be punished for an offence that he or she had not personally committed.
