The strategy must be clearly focused on the implementation of the UN-Habitat mandate with respect to youth. The Habitat Agenda commits Governments and UN-Habitat to working in partnership with youth in order to develop and enhance effective skills and provide education and training to prepare youth for current and future decision-making roles and sustainable livelihoods in human settlements management and development.
20 - ينبغي أن تركز الاستراتيجية تركيزاً واضحاً على تنفيذ المهمة المنوط بها موئل الأمم المتحدة فيما يتعلق بالشباب، حيث أن جدول أعمال الموئل يلزم الحكومات وموئل الأمم المتحدة بالعمل بمشاركة الشباب من أجل تطوير وتعزيز المهارات الفعالة وإتاحة التعليم والتدريب من أجل إعداد الشباب لأدوار صنع القرار في الحاضر والمستقبل وإدارة الأحوال المعيشية في المستوطنات البشرية وتطويرها.
