6. The Chair of the twenty-fifth meeting, Mr. Grossman, then invited Mr. El Jamri, Chair of the twenty-fourth meeting, held in Addis Ababa, to inform participants of his activities.

From 25 to 27 February 1998, the Committee of Five met in the margins of the meeting of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) Council of Ministers held in Addis Ababa to review the situation in Sierra Leone. 118. In this regard, UPU participated in May 1999 in the first OAU meeting of the Committee on Transport, Communications and Tourism held in Addis Ababa, whose main objective was precisely to lay down strategies for implementing the AEC.

Pan-African Implementation and Partnership Conference on Water: This conference, held in Addis Ababa in December 2003, considered the implications of the outcomes of the World Summit on Sustainable Development on regional water initiatives and the continent's role in implementing the Summit's outcomes.
14- مؤتمر عموم أفريقيا للتنفيذ والشراكة بشأن المياه: قام هذا المؤتمر، الذي عُقد في أديس أبابا في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003 ببحث آثار نتائج القمة العالمية المعنية بالتنمية المستدامة على مبادرات المياه الإقليمية وعلى دور القارة في تنفيذ نتائج القمة.
