Concern was expressed about the situation of 150,000 Western Thrace Turks as well as the " Macedonian minority " regarding alleged restrictions to the establishment of their associations.

كما يُقلِق اللجنةَ أن الأطفال الذين يعيشون في مجتمع ثراس المسلم وأطفال أقلية الروما كذلك لا يحصلون بالقدر الكافي، بما في ذلك بلغات الأقليات، على المعلومات والمواد الرامية إلى نماء الطفل من مجموعة متنوعة من المصادر الوطنية والدولية.

In this regard, the Committee is concerned about the non-application of the general law of the State party to the Muslim community of Thrace regarding marriage and inheritance, as well as about the persistence of polygamy and early marriage in the Muslim and Roma communities.

22. Women members of the Muslim minority of Thrace were the beneficiaries of various education and employment programmes; for example, a project in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace was aimed at enhancing women's employability through counselling, training and entrepreneurship.
22 - ومضت قائلة إن النساء أعضاء الأقلية المسلمة في ثراس كنَّ المستفيدات من برامج التعليم والعمل المختلفة؛ وعلى سبيل المثال، كان الهدف من مشروع في منطقة مقدونيا الشرقية وثراس تعزيز قدرة المرأة على الحصول على العمل عن طريق إسداء المشورة، والتدريب والقدرة على تنظيم المشاريع.

10. The Committee recommends that the State party take steps to ensure that domestic legislation is fully compatible with the principles and provisions of the Convention and has precedence over customary practices, including the application of sharia law in the Muslim community of Thrace.
10- وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تتخذ خطوات لضمان توافق القوانين المحلية فيها توافقاً تاماً مع مبادئ الاتفاقية وأحكامها وأن تكون لها العلوية على الممارسات العرفية، بما في ذلك تطبيق أحكام الشريعة في مجتمع ثراس المسلم.

53. The Committee recommends that the State party ensure that all children have access to health care, giving particular attention to access to health services for Roma children, children of the Muslim community of Thrace, children in street situations, and migrant, asylum-seeking and unaccompanied children.
53- وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تكفل استفادة جميع الأطفال من الرعاية الصحية وبأن تولي اهتماماً خاصاً لمسألة إتاحة الخدمات الصحية لأطفال أقلية الروما وأطفال مجتمع ثراس المسلم وأطفال الشوارع والأطفال المهاجرين وطالبي اللجوء وغير المصاحبين.

60. The Committee positively notes the adoption of the three national education projects for immigrant and repatriate students, for children of the Muslim minority in Thrace and for Roma children, as well as the establishment in 2010 of the Educational Priority Zones (ZEP).
60- تلاحظ اللجنة بشكل إيجابي اعتماد مشاريع التعليم الوطني الثلاثة الخاصة بالطلاب المهاجرين والعائدين إلى الوطن وبأطفال أقلية ثراس المسلمة وبأطفال أقلية الروما وكذلك إنشاء المناطق ذات الأولوية في مجال التعليم في عام 2010.

32. The Committee is concerned about the social exclusion and vulnerability of women belonging to the Muslim community in Thrace, Roma women, migrant women, rural women, as well as about obstacles preventing them from enjoying basic rights, such as access to health-care services, social benefits, education and participation in political and public life.
32- يساور القلق اللجنة إزاء الإقصاء الاجتماعي وضعف حال النساء من الطائفة المسلمة في ثراس ونساء الروما والنساء المهاجرات ونساء الأرياف، كما يساورها القلق إزاء العقبات التي تمنعهن من التمتع بحقوقهن الأساسية كالحصول على خدمات الرعاية الصحية والاستفادة من المزايا الاجتماعية ومن التعليم والمشاركة في الحياة السياسية والعامة.

(c) Provide comprehensive information and statistical data, disaggregated by sex, geographical location and minority, on disadvantaged groups of women, in particular, on women belonging to the Muslim minority in Thrace, Roma women, migrant women and rural women.
(ج) توفير معلومات شاملة وبيانات إحصائية عن الفئات المحرومة من النساء مفصّلة حسب نوع الجنس والموقع الجغرافي والأقلية، ولا سيما النساء من الأقلية المسلمة في ثراس ونساء الروما والنساء المهاجرات ونساء الأرياف.

The Committee is concerned that the application of sharia law in some matters of family law within the Muslim community of Thrace is not always compatible with the principles and provisions of the Convention, in particular with reference to the practice of early marriages, despite the efforts taken by the State party to control it, and in matters of inheritance, which discriminates against girls.
ومن دواعي قلق اللجنةَ أن تطبيق أحكام الشريعة في بعض المسائل المتصلة بقانون الأسرة داخل مجتمع " ثراس " المسلم لا يتوافق دائماً مع مبادئ الاتفاقية وأحكامها، والمقصود بصفة خاصة ممارسة الزواج المبكر، رغم الجهود المبذولة من قبل الدولة الطرف للحد منها، وفي مسائل الميراث وما تنطوي عليه من التمييز ضد البنات.
