12. While welcoming the new Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination, the Committee notes the low number of complaints about discrimination based on sex submitted by women to the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms under the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination.

After The Constitution of Montenegro was enacted, giving the Protector of the Human Rights and Freedoms a wider role, the need was felt to change and amend the existing Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.
6- وبعد سنّ دستور الجبل الأسود الذي أعطى حامي حقوق الإنسان والحريات دوراً أكثر اتساعاً، ظهرت الحاجة إلى تغيير وتعديل القانون الحالي الخاص بحامي حقوق الإنسان والحريات.

Through the provisions of the new Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, the autonomy of Protector's Office is enhanced, by ensuring greater financial support, strengthening administrative capacities of the Office and its authority, along with the ensuring the security of the personnel.

10. Legislative improvements in this field will result from amendments to the Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms and Law on Prohibition of Discrimination that are currently being drafted.

On the basis of that law, the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro appointed the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms (Ombudsman) in October 2003.
وعلى أساس هذا القانون، عين برلمان جمهورية الجبل الأسود حامي حقوق الإنسان وحرياته (أمين المظالم) في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2003.

58. Lithuania commended the adoption of the Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms (Ombudsman) and the anti-discrimination law which tackles direct and indirect discrimination, as well as the strengthening the Ombudsman institution.

Under Article 2 of that law, the Human Rights Defender is an independent, unaffiliated official who, in accordance with the Constitution and Republic of Armenia law, as well as the generally recognized principles and norms of international law, defends human rights and fundamental freedoms violated by State and local self-governing bodies and officials.
وتنص المادة 2 من هذا القانون على أن حامي حقوق الإنسان هو مسؤول مستقل وقائم بذاته. وهو يتولى وفقاً لدستور جمهورية أرمينيا ومبادئ ومعايير القانون الدولي المعترف بها عموماً، الدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية التي تنتهكها الدولة وهيئات الحكم الذاتي المحلي والمسؤولون.

Under paragraph 1 of Article 8 of that law, any individual, regardless of nationality, citizenship, place of residence, sex, race, age, political or other views or capacity, has recourse to the Human Rights Defender.
وبموجب الفقرة 1 من المادة 8 من ذلك القانون، يحق لأي فرد بغض النظر عن القومية، أو المواطَنة، أو مكان الإقامة أو نوع الجنس، أو العنصر أو السن والآراء السياسية وغيرها من الآراء أو القدرة، أن يلتجئ إلى حامي حقوق الإنسان.

An energetic process to update the legal framework is under way in Armenia: constitutional amendments have been adopted, domestic laws are being reformed, a number of bilateral and multilateral agreements have been signed, the institution of the Human Rights Defender has been created and the process of ratifying conventions continues.
1 - تجري في أرمينيا عملية نشطة تهدف إلى استكمال الإطار القانوني: فقد تم إقرار التعديلات الدستورية وإصلاح القوانين الداخلية جارٍ على قدم وساق وتم التوقيع على عدد من الاتفاقات الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف، كما تم إنشاء مؤسسة " حامي حقوق الإنسان " وتتواصل عملية التصديق على الاتفاقيات.

(d) Provide information in its next periodic report on the number of complaints about sex-based discrimination lodged with the Protector for Human Rights and Freedoms, and on their outcome.
(د) تضمين تقريرها الدوري القادم معلومات عن عدد الشكاوى المتعلقة بالتمييز القائم على نوع الجنس التي قُدمت إلى حامي حقوق الإنسان والحريات، وعما آلت إليه من نتائج.

The office of the Protector of the Human Rights and Freedoms is now located in the centre of Podgorica, and the conditions for his work are much improved.
وأصبح مكتب حامي حقوق الإنسان والحريات يقع الآن في وسط بودغوريكا، وتحسّنت ظروف عمله كثيراً.
