Trabelsi may have been in contact with Tarek Marroufi, who is at the centre of the Massoud case, which deals with the existence, in the Pakistan-Afghanistan region, of an international trafficking ring for the transport of volunteers wishing to settle there or receive paramilitary training.

It should be pointed out, however, that this does not prevent inquiries from being conducted on the preparation of attacks to be carried out abroad, some of which have led to recent arrests (the case of Trabelsi et al.). Between 0930 and 1130 hours Israeli warplanes overflew the South. At 1030 hours they attacked a dwelling belonging to Abd al-Latif Yasin on the eastern edge of Majdal Silm, firing four air-to-surface missiles. The dwelling was completely destroyed and two others were left fissured. Two residents, Abbas Ali Zayn, 21, and Hasan Samih Tarabulsi, 21, were killed.
