(d) Merge field coordination functions into the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development.

(a) The Director of Development and Special Adviser to the Special Representative of the Secretary-General be renamed Director of Civil Affairs and Development;
(أ) تغيير تسمية وظيفة مدير شؤون التنمية والمستشار الخاص للممثل الخاص للأمين العام إلى مدير الشؤون المدنية والتنمية؛

(b) The functions of the Field Coordination Unit be merged/integrated into the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development;
(ب) دمج/إدراج مهام وحدة التنسيق الميداني في مكتب مدير الشؤون المدنية والتنمية؛

47. The incumbents of the above-mentioned 52 positions will continue to carry out their respective functions in the organizational units proposed to be restructured in 2014, namely, the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development, the Human Rights Unit, the Bamyan provincial office and the Communications and Information Technology Section in Kuwait.

(c) Three positions (1 Special Assistant (P-4) and 2 Coordination Officers (1 P-3 and 1 National Professional Officer)) be redeployed from the Field Coordination Unit to the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development.
(ج) نقل ثلاث وظائف (مساعد خاص (ف-4) وموظفان لشؤون التنسيق (موظف برتبة ف-3 وموظف فني وطني)) من وحدة التنسيق الميداني إلى مكتب مدير الشؤون المدنية والتنمية.

(b) Three positions (1 Special Assistant (P-4) and 2 Coordination Officers (1 P-3 and 1 National Professional Officer)) be redeployed to the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development;

78. The Director of Civil Affairs (D-2) provides overall guidance and direction to the Civil Affairs network and is a core member of the Mission senior management team.

(d) Merge field coordination functions into the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development, following the abolishment of the Field Coordination Unit as a separate unit under the Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (Resident Coordinator/Humanitarian Coordinator) (ibid., para. 19 (d)).
(د) دمج مهام التنسيق الميداني في إطار مكتب مدير الشؤون المدنية والتنمية، في أعقاب إلغاء وحدة التنسيق الميداني بعد أن كانت وحدة منفصلة في مكتب نائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام (المنسق المقيم/منسق الشؤون الإنسانية) (المرجع نفسه، الفقرة 19 (د)).

(a) The Field Coordination Unit be discontinued and its functions transferred to the Office of the Director of Civil Affairs and Development, which is intended to provide a more integrated and coherent approach to addressing field presence coordination issues within the Mission, while also ensuring the continued and dedicated focus of that function and its observance of mandated reporting requirements;
