وفي نهاية حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩، تلقى مكتب البعثة الدائمة للاتحاد الدولي لدى اﻷمم المتحدة بجنيف رسالة أخرى وقعتها كذلك السيدة مزوي تبلغ فيها الاتحاد الدولي بأن اللجنة لم تتلق أي رد على طلبها اﻷول.

On behalf of the Board, she also expressed INSTRAW's thanks to Ji Chaozhu, Under-Secretary- General, Department for Development Support and Management Services, and representative of the Secretary-General to the Board in past sessions, for his active support of INSTRAW, and to Guido Bertucci and Hanifa Mezoui.
وباسم المجلس، أعربت أيضا عن شكرها لجي تشاوجو، وكيل اﻷمين العام، إدارة خدمات الدعم والادارة من أجل التنمية، وممثل اﻷمين العام لدى المجلس في الدورات الماضية، لما قدمه من دعم نشط للمعهد، ولغيدو بيرتوتشي وحنيفة مزوي.

53. Ms. Mezoui emphasized the importance of the concept of partnership in the work of the Non-Governmental Organization Section in both its outreach programme and its contribution to the advancement of Millennium Development Goal number 8, " Develop a global partnership for development " .
53 - وأكدت السيدة مزوي على أهمية مفهوم الشراكة في عمل قسم المنظمات غير الحكومية سواء في برنامج التواصل الذي يضطلع به القسم أو في مساهمته في النهوض بالهدف الإنمائي الثامن للألفية: " إقامة شراكة عالمية من أجل التنمية " .

55. Finally, Ms. Mezoui spoke of the relationship that had been established with certain intergovernmental organizations and the assistance provided to these organizations as well as to NGOs participating in the high-level segment of the Economic and Social Council.
55 - وختاما تحدثت السيدة مزوي عن العلاقة التي أقيمت بين بعض المنظمات الحكومية الدولية، وعن المساعدة التي قدمت إلى هذه المنظمات والمنظمات غير الحكومية المشاركة في الجزء رفيع المستوى من المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

76. At its 32nd meeting, on 17 May 2005, the Chief of the Non-Governmental Organizations Section of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Ms. Hanifa Mezoui, presented the progress report of the United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations Informal Regional Network (UN-NGO-IRENE).
76 - خلال الجلسة 32 للجنة المعقودة في 17 أيار/مايو 2005 قدمت السيدة حنيفة مزوي رئيسة قسم المنظمات غير الحكومية التقرير المرحلي لشبكة الأمم المتحدة الإقليمية غير الرسمية (UN-NGO-IRENE).

82. Ms. Mezoui explained that during these meetings and events, organizations formulated declarations and proposals focusing on achieving the MDGs, which will be read at the high-level segment of the Economic and Social Council in June 2005.
82 - وأوضحت السيدة حنيفة مزوي أن المنظمات قامت خلال هذه الاجتماعات والمناسبات بصياغة إعلانات ومقترحات تتمحور أساسا حول تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية وستُقرأ في الجزء الرفيع المستوى من اجتماعات المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في شهر حزيران/يونيه 2005.

51. Ms. Mezoui provided an overview of the Network's projects in the various regions and reminded the members of the Committee that the first regional network, UN-NGO-IRENE/Africa, was launched in Hammamet, Tunisia, in 2001, with 5 subregional coordinators.
51 - وقدمت السيدة مزوي نظرة عامة عن مشاريع الشبكة في الأقاليم المختلفة، وذكَّرت أعضاء اللجنة أن أول شبكة إقليمية، وهي شبكة الأمم المتحدة الإقليمية غير الرسمية للمنظمات غير الحكومية/إفريقيا، (UN-NGO-IRENE/Africa) افتتحت في الحمامات في تونس عام 2001، وذلك بخمسة منسقين على الصعيد دون الإقليمي.

Another major joint undertaking described by Ms. Mezoui was the extensive involvement with the World Family Organization and the UN-NGO-IRENE regional coordinator for Latin America in the organization of the World Summit-Family plus 10, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the International Year of the Family in November 2004.
أما المشروع الرئيسي المشترك الآخر الذي تناولته السيدة مزوي بالوصف فكان الاشتراك على نطــاق واســع مع المنظمــة العالمية للأسرة والمنسق الإقليمي لأمريكا اللاتينية لشبكة الأمــم المتحــدة الإقليميــة غير الرسميــة للمنظمــات غير الحكومية، في تنظيم مؤتمر القمة العالمي - الأسرة زائدا 10 للاحتفال بالذكرى العاشرة للسنة الدولية للأسرة في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2004.
