55. I am pleased to report that, three and a half years after the Security Council adopted resolution 1701 (2006), the parties maintain their commitment to it.

19. I am pleased to report that the first phase of the exchange of family visits programme between Western Saharan refugees living in the Tindouf area refugee camps in Algeria and their relatives in the Territory was successfully concluded on 31 August 2004.

2. I am pleased to report that the agreement of 10 April 2005 between the Government of Nepal and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) was renewed for two years until June 2007, maintaining the comprehensiveness of its mandate.

57. With reference to paragraph 6 of resolution 1701 (2006), I am pleased to report that the international community has continued to provide assistance for the reconstruction and development of Lebanon.

After months of delay, I am pleased to report that the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has sent a technical team to Uganda and Rwanda, in April and July respectively, to identify and process some 2,000 former M23 members who had fled to those countries in 2013.

In this regard, I am pleased to report that the Government of Liberia has criminalized the financing of any activities involving radioactive, chemical or biological agents in the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act recently passed by the National Legislature, pursuant to resolution 1540 (2004).
وفي هذا الصدد، يسرني أن أفيد بأن حكومة ليبريا باتت تجرِّم تمويل أي أنشطة تنطوي على عوامل إشعاعية أو كيميائية أو بيولوجية وذلك في إطار قانون مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب الذي سنه المجلس التشريعي الوطني عملاً بالقرار 1540 (2004).

2. I am pleased to report that since the adoption of Security Council resolution 1701 (2006), the situation between Lebanon and Israel remains stable, with no overt confrontation or conflict, even if there remains a degree of tension.
2 - يسرني أن أفيد بأنه، منذ اتخاذ قرار مجلس الأمن 1701 (2006)، ظلت الحالة بين لبنان وإسرائيل مستقرة، دون حدوث مواجهات أو نزاعات علنية، وإن ظلت هناك درجة من التوتر.

27. With respect to the situation of Palestinians in Lebanon, I am pleased to report that the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization has reiterated, both to me and publicly, its appeal to the Palestinians in Lebanon to respect the sovereignty and political independence of Lebanon, as well as Lebanese law and security requirements.
27 - وفي ما يتعلق بحالة الفلسطينيين في لبنان، يسرني أن أفيد بأن قيادة منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية أكدت لي وبصورة علنية مناشدتها الفلسطينيين في لبنان احترام سيادة لبنان واستقلاله السياسي، وكذلك مقتضيات القانون والأمن في لبنان.

3. In spite of these serious incidents, I am pleased to report that all parties continue to express their support for and commitment to the implementation of resolution 1701 (2006).

3. I am pleased to report that the Liberian parties have now succeeded in implementing one of the major tasks called for in the Cotonou agreement (S/26376) as well as in resolution 911 (1994), namely the full installation of the Council of State of the Liberian National Transitional Government.
