Sir al-Gharbiyah massacre, 1985
مجزرة صير الغربية عام ١٩٨٥:

On 23 February 1985 Israeli occupation forces carried out a massacre in the village of Sir al-Gharbiyah in the district of Nabatiyah. Armoured cars stormed into the village and opened fire on civilians who had assembled in the local church.
في ٢٣/٢/١٩٨٥ ارتكبت قوات الاحتلال اﻹسرائيلي مجزرة في بلدة صير الغربية في قضاء النبطية، حيث اقتحمت اﻵليات القرية وأطلقت النار على المواطنين الذين تجمعوا في حسينية البلدة مما أسفر عن مقتل ٧ وسقوط عدد من الجرحى.

Nevertheless, the investigation identified all the Civil Guard officers who had had contact with the author. They were questioned; witness statements were taken from all the court-appointed lawyers who had had contact with the author during her detention, and from the forensic doctors who had examined her; and numerous medical reports on the author's state of health were included in the proceedings.
