Bahraini law treats men and women equally in claims for damage. Compensation awarded to a woman for damages is equal to that awarded to a man in similar circumstances. Conversely, the same judgment and damages imposed on a woman in given circumstances are also imposed on a man in similar circumstances.
307 - ساوى القانون البحريني أيضاً في هذا الشأن بين الرجل والمرأة، حيث أن التعويض عن الضرر الذي يصيب المرأة يتم بشكل متساوٍ تماماً مع التعويض عن الضرر الذي يصيب الرجل واللذين يحدثا في ظروف مماثلة، وتواجه المرأة الأحكام ذاتها التي يواجهها الرجل في الظروف ذاتها ويفرض عليها التعويض ذاته.

Only one-fourth of the salary of a working woman or man may be garnished, regardless of whether the woman is employed in the private sector. If various debts compete for this fourth, one-half of the fourth is allocated to pay maintenance and the other half is allocated to repay other debts.
308 - ساوى القانون البحريني بين الرجل والمرأة في شأن العمل، فهو لا يجيز الحجز على راتب المرأة العاملة تماماً مثل الرجل، سواء أكانت المرأة موظفة أو عاملة في القطاع الأهلي إلا بمقدار ربع الراتب فقط، وعند تزاحم الديون فيما يتعلق بهذا الربع يخصص نصفه لوفاء دين النفقة والنصف الآخر لبقية الديون.

وهذا وإن قانون التأمينات الاجتماعية رقم 92 لعام 1959 قد ساوى أيضاً بين المرأة والرجل في الاستفادة من جميع أحكام التأمين.

39. The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act No. 8 of 2010 treats men and women on an equal footing in regard to the enjoyment of rights and benefits. In fact, under the Act, women enjoy a larger number of rights, including entitlement to a monthly allowance if they are caring for a person with a severe disability, as well as special maternity and childcare leave and housing benefits.
39- ساوى القانون 8 لسنة 2010 بشأن حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة بين المرأة والرجل في التمتع بذات الحقوق والامتيازات، بل أنه قد خص المرأة بعدد أكبر من الحقوق أهمها: استحقاقها مخصصاً شهرياً عند رعاية شخصاً لديه إعاقة شديدة، وإجازة خاصة للمرأة الحامل ورعاية الأمومة والرعاية السكنية.

124. The same right is given to the foreign wife of an Iraqi man. As such, the Act treats equally the foreign husband of an Iraqi woman seeking naturalization and the foreign wife of an Iraqi man likewise seeking naturalization, pursuant to the provisions of article 11: " A non-Iraqi woman married to an Iraqi shall have the right to acquire Iraqi nationality subject to the following conditions:

Article 4, for instance, stipulates that the stipulations relating to legal capacity apply to all persons covered under its provisions.
