In the last report the Group highlighted five key individuals who were not included on the list; Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Suleiman Abu Gaith and Said Bahaji.

On 26 March 2013, the Government transmitted a reply to an urgent appeal, sent on 7 November 2012, concerning the alleged mass arrest and detention of human rights defenders, judges and lawyers, including allegations according to which the fate and whereabouts of Messers. Ahmad Gaith al-Suwaidi, Rashid Mohamed Abdullah al-Roken, Abdullah al-Hajiri, Juma Darwish al-Felassi, Ali Saaed al-Kindi and Khamis Saaed al-Sam al-Zyoudi were unknown.

The accused, in respect of whom summonses have been issued in accordance with the law, have not appeared before the Chamber. Some of the injured parties have appeared, pursuing their civil rights, as have Mr. Muhammad Abd al-Wahab, representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and Mr. Abd al-Majid Amtat Ghayth, lawyer in the Department of Legal Affairs, on behalf of the public authorities seeking to uphold their civil rights.
وأمام الغرفة لم يحضر المتهمون وقد أعلنوا طبقا للقانون وحضر بعض المجني عليهم المدعين بالحق المدني كما حضر اﻷستاذ محمد عبد الوهاب وكيل النيابة العامة واﻷستاذ عبد المجيد امطاط غيث المحامي بإدارة القضايا عن الجهات العامة المدعية بالحق المدني.

At the same meeting, the Council also decided to extend invitations, under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure, to Ms. Kathleen Carroll, Mr. Mustafa Haji Abdinur, Mr. Richard Engel and Mr. Ghaith Abdul-Ahad.
