وقد استهجن هؤلاء المسؤولون، كما يستدل على ذلك من تصريحاتهم، محاولات وأفعال العصابات اﻹرهابية التي مقرها في ميامي، بل وأخطروها في عدة مناسبات بأنه في حال استمرارها في ارتكاب هذه اﻷفعال الشريرة بحق كوبا، فإن سلطات الولايات المتحدة لن تستطيع التدخل في التدابير التي قد تتخذها حكومة كوبا لكفالة سيادة الدولة التي تمثلها.
